Halak Traded To Blues/Pens Free Agency News

-According to TSN, the Montreal Canadiens traded G Jaroslav Halak to the St. Louis Blues for C Lars Eller and RW Ian Schultz. Halak was a playoff hero as he led the Canadiens past the Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh Penguins, and almost past the Philadelphia Flyers. Montreal has named G Carey Price as their #1 goaltender.
-Michel Therrien will not be the New Jersey Devils coach after all. John MacLean was named the new head coach today.
-Some Pens free agency news: According to TIOPS, the Penguins and Matt Cooke are about $500,000 apart from eachother, but the amount of years is agreeable. Cooke wants over $2 million per season. A deal is not imminent, but a deal could be reached by July 1st.
