9:22 AM: According to TIOPS, the Pittsburgh Penguins could have framework for a deal in place today. Names have not been mentioned yet. March Madness in hockey may start on the first day of March for the Penguins. Practice will be held at 11:00 today. That practice could tell us something, especially if Ruslan Fedotenko is not there. Rob Rossi of the Tribune Review reported that talks on a new deal with Sergei Gonchar will be put off until the offseason.
