Malkin Doubtful for Devils Game

-The opportunity to beat the New Jersey Devils just once took a step backward. Evgeni Malkin did not practice today and is doubtful to play tomorrow in New Jersey. The Devils are already 5-0 against the Penguins and with a win tomorrow, they would sweep the season series. They have outscored Pittsburgh 16-3 in five games and losing Malkin certainly does not help. Due to Malkin's availability, Alexei Ponikarovsky is expected to play with Sidney Crosby and Pascal Dupuis. The lines they practiced on today looked like this:
Ponikarovsky-Crosby-Dupuis
Kunitz-Staal-Guerin
Cooke-Kennedy-Fedotenko
The fourth line rotated between Talbot, Rupp, Adams and Eric Godard, who has returned to skating with the team.
