-The Pittsburgh Penguins will be without star center Evgeni Malkin tonight against the Washington Capitals. He did not participate in the morning skate because of a sore foot. The game will be televised on FSN Pittsburgh and NHL Network at 7:00. Washington C Brooks Laich will also miss the game. The Penguins are probably being cautious with Malkin. The coaching staff does not want to make him play in a game that is not a must win game like a playoff game. I would rather see him 100% healthy when the playoffs begin.
