Ilya Kovalchuk Being Traded to New Jersey

Kevin Allen of the USA Today has just reported that Ilya Kovalchuk is being traded to the New Jersey Devils. This is not good news for Pittsburgh at all. I wonder if this move will affect what the Penguins do at the deadline. What is going to Atlanta remains to be seen. I will update when I get information.

UPDATE 8:20: Atlanta gets rookie forward Niclas Bergfors, defenseman Johnny Oduya, prospect Patrice Cormier and a first-round draft pick. Big win for New Jersey in my opinion.
