-Team Canada defeated Russia 7-3 to move on to the next round of the Olympic tournament. Sidney Crosby did not have any points while Evgeni Malkin had one assist. Sergei Gonchar scored Russia's last goal of the 2010 Olympics. Many thought this game would be very competitive, but Canada dominated from the drop of the puck. Canada will play Slovakia at 9:30 tomorrow night.
-Team USA defeated Switzerland 2-0 to advance to the next round. Zach Parise scored both goals in a hard fought game. USA has won every game in regulation and will face Finland at 3:00 PM tomorrow. Many are predicting USA will face Canada in the Gold Medal game. However, Slovakia and Finland cannot be overelooked.
