Pens vs. Canadiens

After nearly quitting life after the Flyers loss, I decided to stick it out and watch the Pens take on the Habs.

Bad idea.

The Pens played a nice game until the last five minutes, blowing a 2-1 lead and moving to 0-2 at CONSOL Energy Center.

Barf.

Mike Cammalleri continued his dominance of the Pens by collecting two goals.

Boy would I love to have Cammalleri on the Pens.

Some guy who was not named Jeff Jimmerson sang the anthem. I blame him.

First Period

Calamari scores.

1-0 Habs.

Comrie spends nearly half the period in the penalty box.

Second Period

Geno tallies his first goal of the season as he buries a slapper. Pens had a 4 on 3 advantage.

1-1.

A Power Play goal? What?

Kinda sad that this is what you see when you search "Pens powerplay":

Miss you Sarge.

3rd Period

8:42 in Letestu up for the first time this season by snapping a nice little wrister by Carey Price.

Letestu is good.

2-1 Pens.

Then the Pens...

Cammalleri scores again.

2-2.

Then, like a second later, the Pens...

Scott Gomez scores.

3-2 Habs.

Game.

Great picture by our friends over at The Pensblog.

...

What we learned:

Letestu is sweet.
Fleury needs to be better.
It's only game #2.
Don't Google image search anything with the word "pee" in it with your safesearch off.
