Halak Steals Show As Canadiens Beat Pens 3-1

-The Montreal Canadiens defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-1 today at the Mellon Arena to even the series at one. Jaroslav Halak was solid again in goal as he stopped 38 of 39 shots on goal. Matt Cooke gave Pittsburgh an early lead, but that ended up being the only shot that went by Halak. Jordan Leopold and Tyler Kennedy returned to the lineup while Jordan Staal obviously did not play. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 18 of 21 shots. The series shifts to Montreal for the next two games starting Tuesday at 7:00 on FSN.
