Guerin Intends To Play, Ponikarovsky's Return Doubtful

-According to TIOPS, Bill Guerin intends to play again next season and he is optimistic that he and Pittsburgh can work out a deal that will let him play in the new Consol Energy Center. Guerin, 39, scored 21 goals this season which led all Penguins wingers. He will likely take another pay cut and Ray Shero could look at more wingers to play with Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin.
-Alexei Ponikarovsky apparently skipped the last team meeting yesterday. That is a sign that he may not be back next season as many have speculated already. He did not provide the offensive spark Shero was looking for.
