Pens Clip Canadiens 2-0 To Take Series Lead
-The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Montreal Canadiens 2-0 to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Marc-Andre Fleury and Evgeni Malkin, the two players that were taking most of the blame for the Penguins struggles, responded to their critics in big ways. Fleury stole this game from Montreal by making two incredible timely saves in addition to stopping all 18 shots against him. Malkin scored a powerplay goal that turned out to be the game winner. Pascal Dupuis added an empty netter to seal the win for Pittsburgh. They accomplished this without Bill Guerin and Jordan Staal. Next game is Thursday at 7 in Montreal. The game will be televised on Versus.
