Pens Shutout Bruins 3-0
-The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Boston Bruins 3-0 in a game where most of the attention went to Matt Cooke. Shawn Thornton fought Cooke on his first shift of the game. The most important things to come out of this game was a victory and that no one got hurt. This was also the first shutout for the Penguins this season. Goals were scored by Tyler Kennedy, Alexei Ponikarovsky, and Mike Rupp. Kennedy needed that goal after a bad performance last night in New Jersey. With the victory and the Devils shootout loss, Pittsburgh is back in first place in the Atlantic division. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped all 17 shots against him. The Penguins play Carolina at home on Saturday at 1:00.
