-According to TIOPS, Sergei Gonchar's agent J.P. Barry is scheduled to meet with Penguins GM Ray Shero tomorrow in Vancouver. They will discuss a new contract for the veteran defenseman because he is scheduled to be a UFA after the season. Gonchar would likely have to take some discount for the Penguins to have more cap room for Kris Letang, who will become an RFA this summer. It is not known what Gonchar's intentions are, but he will definitely be a Penguin until at least the end of this season.
